Talking on the phone, texting, and surfing the internet have become standard activities people perform as part of their everyday life. However, we rarely think of the infrastructure connecting us: the telecoms industry. In Italy, the telecoms industry has been experiencing some fluctuations over the past few years. However, the market recently started showing signs of recovery, to which the "Italia 1 Giga" project will contribute. Planned for 2026, its main goal is the improvement of fixed broadband, 5G, and satellite connectivity throughout the country.
