Television industry in Finland - statistics & facts
The television industry changed drastically in the last decade. While not long-ago linear TV programs and online video platforms were regular, video- and broadcasting-on-demand changed the industry and challenged operators. Unlike other countries, the Finnish television industry has been experiencing a steady rise in revenue over the past decade. While Finland had 107 companies operating in the television and radio industry in 2022, only 32 worked in the television program and broadcasting sector.
