According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2024, around **** percent of responding video game developers and publishers stated that they were in the process of implementing virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) technologies in their games. This was the most common web 3.0 technology being introduced in video games, followed by metaverse and artificial intelligence (AI). Overall however, the majority of companies, at ** percent, were currently not introducing any such technologies.
