According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2024, the majority of responding video game developers and publishers across all gaming platforms stated that they did not plan on introducing any web 3.0 technologies in their games. Of those planned on being implemented, virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) technologies were the most common across most platforms, with ****% of arcade game companies planning on implementing VR or AR in their games. AI was slightly more commonly planned in the case of PC games.
